Tasks are the simpler of the two records in your workspace. They're for internal business work — things that need to get done, but aren't charged to a customer.
1. What tasks are for
Restocking supplies, cleaning the shop, maintaining equipment, running errands, handling paperwork — the work that keeps your business running between customer jobs. Because a task isn't tied to a customer, it stays simple: no customer record, no review request, just the thing to do and when to do it.
2. Planned alongside your jobs
Tasks live in the same views as your jobs — list, board, and month, week, and day calendars — so your internal work and customer work share one schedule. Move a task through your board lanes as it progresses, or place it on the calendar for the day it needs to happen.
3. Recurring tasks for repeating work
Work that repeats can be scheduled as a recurring task, so the things you do every week or every month are planned ahead instead of remembered at the last minute.
