Quote Requests move customer interest out of scattered messages and into one structured request. A customer describes the detailing work they need, shares their vehicle and location, and starts a conversation with businesses that can actually quote the job.
A request can start from a business profile, from the customer-facing quote request flow, or through Let Cleann Match You. The goal is the same in each case: help customers reach real local detailers, and help detailers receive clearer opportunities instead of vague lead forms.
1. How it works
The customer submits one request with the service, vehicle, and location details a business needs to understand the job. From there, they choose who hears about it: they can invite the local businesses they want quotes from, or use Let Cleann Match You and let Cleann identify and invite businesses that fit the request.
When a request reaches your business, it appears in your dashboard conversations. You can review the details, unlock the conversation to reply, and send an estimate when you're ready to price the work. The request, replies, estimates, and the customer's final choice all stay in one thread.
The articles in this series walk through each step in detail — from what to do when a request lands in your Conversations list to building the estimate that wins the job.
2. Prepare your business profile
A complete profile helps customers understand your business, builds trust before they request a quote, and gives Cleann better information when recommending businesses through Let Cleann Match You. Keep your services, service area, availability, photos, and verified reviews current — those are the signals customers compare before choosing who gets the job.
